Introduction to knitting Come and join long time Oxford resident Maureen Phillips, a knitter since the age of 8, to learn basics as well as tips for the more advanced knitter in our newly established Knitting Corner You will learn various techniques to make fun and funky scarves; from the addition of novelty yarns such as "eyelash" yarn, to embellish your completed scarves with beading, ribbon, and fringe.  As your skills improve, more advanced projects can be started. We invite everyone from beginners to advanced skill levels to join in the fun and creativity.  Bring a friend, or make some new ones!! Classes will be held on Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm October 11th through December  6th Fees are just $5.00 per visit.  When  a parent & child knit together, only one pays a fee!!!! **************************************************************************************************** THE HOLIDAYS WILL BE HERE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT!! JOIN US FOR HOLIDAY WREATH MAKING WE WILL USE A GRAPEVINE WREATH AS A BASE AND USE VARIOUS ELEMENTS TO DECORATE THEM. Bring your own holiday decorations if you like, we will provide the grapevine wreath, and various decorative elements.
