Depot Rd-Old Worcester Rd Intersection
Project Name :
Depot Rd-Old Worcester Rd Intersection Project
Project Description :
The primary goal of this project is to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians. The intersection will be repaved and reconfigured to provide fewer and more apparent crosswalks which will improve safety for children who walk to the Clara Barton School. New sidewalks will also be installed. This project will eliminate the existing one-way section of Depot Road to I-395. The existing flashing signals will be removed.

Work hours will be 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday – Friday. The approximate start date of construction is July 6th. The approximate completion date is September 14th.

Every effort will be made to limit inconveniences to residents and business owners. Most of the construction period will fall within school summer vacation so impacts to school transportation should be minimal. DPW will coordinate with the school department should any accommodations need to be made for school transportation.

For any questions or concerns regarding the project or construction activity please contact the DPW office.
