ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Absentee ballots are available at the Office of the Town Clerk for the Special State Election on May 10, 2011 in Precinct Two (Oxford Middle School) and for the Annual Town Election on May 17, 2011 in all precincts. An absentee ballot may be obtained if you are unable to vote at the polls on Election Day for one of the following reasons:

  • Absence from town during the hours the polls are open.
  • Physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place.
  • Religious belief.
Applications must be submitted by 12:00 noon the day before the election. However, it is not recommended that you wait until that time since the ballots must be mailed, unless you are able to come to the office to vote. Applications are available at the Office of the Town Clerk or they may be downloaded by going to www.mass.gov , type absentee ballot in the search field, print the form, complete it and mail it to Office of the Town Clerk, 325 Main Street, Oxford, MA 01540.
